Grillin' Magic Chicken Drumsticks

Here's a quick meal that is sure to be a hit with your kids!  Our boys always fight over who gets the drumsticks.  3 boys.  2 chicken legs.  It's a fight waiting to happen.  SO....buy a whole package of chicken legs (affectionately called drumsticks in our family) and you'll have plenty to go around.  I'm not sure if this can be called a "recipe" because it's just too easy.  If anything, dad taught me a better way to cook meat and usually it requires a couple of steps.  Give it a try and I hope you enjoy!  

Defrost your chicken legs throughout the day.  Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.  I remove the skin.  It's just a little bit healthier.  However, some people love it...so then...leave it on.  Place the meat on a baking sheet with a drizzle of olive oil and a good coat of Grillin' Magic.  Make sure to get both sides of the drumsticks.  

Bake the chicken legs for about 20 minutes on each side until the meat is thoroughly cooked through.  Our drumsticks were fairly large so this could be a little too long for some smaller variations.  Nothing yuckier than slimy chicken legs!  

Now it's time to spread on your favorite BBQ sauce all over the drumsticks and place them on a hot grill.  Just get a good charring on all sides.  This creates wonderful flavor and really makes a difference!

Give the drumsticks on more quick shake of Grillin' Magic as a garnish and you will have a delicious and fun meal for the whole family.
