Today's Update

Friday update... Around 3:30 pm today,  we met with the oncologist.   The oncologist has consulted with the gastric and medical teams.   As it stands, Daddy will stay in the hospital until he is able to eat solid food, drink,  and not have consistent diarrhea.  They are not convinced that the current bowel issues are not chemo related, as there is signs of colitis.  He is currently being treated with many meds to treat hiccups,  antibiotics,  etc,  as well as the obvious fluids. They believe this process could take several more days. No further decisions will be made until he is significantly improved.
 
We appreciate continued prayers and support. We need it more than ever as this is starting to become very taxing for Daddy and everyone else. Our belief is strong, but frankly these last days have been so hard.   We are resigned to continue to look to the Throne of Grace for our relief and comfort.
